Grenergy is developing the integration of agricultural and energy production activities utilizing the same structure. Therefore, we aim to change the existing agricultural installations into new generation greenhouses having automatic systems, control and monitorization capabilities, including technologies to improve crop production.
Grenergy's commitment to research and development in renewable energy, sustainability and energy efficiency has led to the adaptation of 250 m2 for GRENpvLAB installation.
R&D projects need experimental areas to develop and test new products and systems, as well as third party components. Grenergy´s commitment to R&D in renewable energy technologies, sustainability and energy efficiency areas has led to the complete refurbishment of an area of 250m2 to install the GRENpvLAB.
The project GRENpvREDICTOR has developed for photovoltaic installations a complete operational system including knowledge generation to compare actual data with simulations of the complete installation. It is able to learn and predict the evolution of the power generation plant.
In the first 40 years of the solar energy generation industry very few data acquisition systems were set up at the installations and information was not systematically recorded. A few solutions already exist although all of them are only partial and do not allow any control, prediction and action concerning the elements of the PV system which can be subject to failure.
